Walking the Jesus Road

What Does it Mean to Walk the Jesus Road

Crossroads Church Thoiry exists to help a growing number of people receive and reflect the love of Jesus Christ.

Love Lavishly

John 4:19 says, “We love because He first loved us.” I John 3:1 says, “See what great love the Father has lavished on us that we should be called children of God.” It all begins and ends with love. We can only give what we have received, and that’s why we receive and then reflect the love of Jesus Christ.

Pray Persistently

John 4:19 says, “We love because He first loved us.” I John 3:1 says, “See what great love the Father has lavished on us that we should be called children of God.” It all begins and ends with love. We can only give what we have received, and that’s why we receive and then reflect the love of Jesus Christ.

Serve Sacrificially

I Peter 4:10 says, “God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.” Each of us have been given gifts to bless others and build up the body of Christ. We are most like Christ when we serve others.

Give Generously

I Corinthians 9:7 says, “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” All that we have comes from God, and we are called to steward our resources well. Giving is an act of worship as we invest in God’s kingdom work around the world.

Invite Intentionally

Matthew 28:19-20 says, “…. Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all I have commanded you…” We want to be like Andrew, one of the first disciples that Jesus called to follow him. One of the first things he did after spending time with Jesus was to find his brother, Simon Peter, and bring him to Jesus. There is no greater joy in life than helping someone become a lifelong fully-devoted follower of Jesus!
